Letter to a business associate concerning back taxes, written shortly before the release of Valley of the Dolls. In part: “I received a notice from these cookies that I owed them money…I never heard Eaton mention this but I presume it may have something to do with an automobile repossession or those mortgages we all bought up years ago. If you have anything in your files on this I wish you’d let me know…so that they don’t Fi-Fa me—because if they did that I’d just have to lower the boom and Fo-Fumm them.” Accompanied by the original mailing envelope as well as a notice from the City of Duluth regarding the back taxes.
