Early matte-finish 5 x 7 photo, inscribed in ink (in Spanish) to Eduardo de la Torre, including the sentiment “por nuestro patria” [for our country] and signed “Fidel Castro Ruz” and dated 1955. The reverse bears several ownership and archival ink stamps and notations. In fine, clean condition, with a hint of subtle silvering to dark portions, and a small crease just touching date.
