Partly printed unsigned DS filled out in Hancock’s hand (and including his surname “Hancock”), one page, 9 x 4.5, October 2, 1762. A bill of lading. In part: “Shipped by the Grace of God, in good Order and well Condition’d, by Thomas Hancock … in and upon the good Ship called Lucy whereof is Master, under God, for this present Voyage, James Dickey and now riding at Anchor in the Harbour of Boston and by God’s Grace bound for Fort Cumberland Chignecto to say, Two hundred barrells of flour … being mark’d and number’d as in the Margin, and are to be deliver’d in the like good Order.” In fine condition, with a rough left edge and light overall toning. More than 30 words in Hancock’s hand. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
