Elusive 2.5 x 4 CDV photo, a seated chest-length image of the bewhiskered Ibsen wearing a watch and holding a cane, signed in ink on the reverse, “Henrik Ibsen.” Slight trimming to bottom edge of mount, otherwise very fine, exceptionally preserved condition.
