(I left the Cape on GT-7 launch day). I’m sorry to have missed you and Tom…I hope to get back to the Cape sometime in ’66—the earlier the better.” Collins makes reference to the Gemini 7 mission, on which he was a member of the back-up crew to Jim Lovell and Frank Borman.
