Alexander Graham Bell

Scottish-born scientist and inventor (1847–1922) who conceived the telephone, founded the Bell Telephone Company, and invented various devices for aiding the deaf. TLS, one page, 8.5 x 11, personal letterhead, March 20, 1916. Letter of thanks for a sent photo. In full: “Many thanks for your note of recent date, and for the photograph of your father which accompanied it. I am very glad to have this and will place it in my files.” In fine condition, with intersecting mailing folds affecting a single letter of signature. RRAuction COA.
