Vintage glossy 8 x 10 photo from the 1936 film Lloyd’s of London, signed and inscribed in ink, “For Mr. Sayre—I don’t recognize this fellow—but my name is Tyrone Power, best wishes.” A pencil notation on the reverse indicates that the signature was obtained on October 24, 1953. The inscribee, James Willis Sayre (1877–1963), was a longtime theatre critic and historian in Seattle. A few surface marks and mild soiling, otherwise fine condition. R&R COA.
