Vintage glossy 8 x 10 Universal publicity photo of Karloff as Mord, the club footed executioner in the 1939 film, signed and inscribed in fountain pen to Donnie Dunagan, who played Peter, the son of Wolf and Elsa von Frankenstein in Son of Frankenstein. Karloff writes, “For Donnie, with love from ‘Tower of London’ Boris Karloff.” A single tack hole to each corner tip, a few light creases, mostly to edges and corners, and a few light surface marks, otherwise fine condition. Dunagan has great personal affection for Karloff and this wonderful signed photo has been an especially prized item in his personal collection for almost seventy years.
