Original two-page menu from the 21st annual dinner of the American Water Color Society, held at the Hotel Brunswick on May 3, 1888, 8 x 10.75, signed in pencil on the inside front cover, “S. L. Clemens,” as well as by 40 other attendees. The American Watercolor Society is a non-profit membership organization that began in 1866 to promote the art of watercolor painting in America. In very good condition, with complete separation of pages, scattered light foxing and toning, and some scattered light creasing, a couple lightly affecting end of Clemens’ signature. R&R COA.
