Menu from the opening dinner of the Statler Hotel, Washington, 8 x 11, January 30, 1943, signed on the cover in fountain pen by J[ames] Cagney, Lawrence Tibbett, Cecilia Louise, and Fred Waring. According the consignor, the item was obtained directly from the former maitre d’ of the hotel in 1948. A touch of mild soiling, and somewhat irregular adhesion to Waring’s signature, otherwise fine condition. R&R COA.
