Original concert program for the Beatles’ concert at the ABC Cinema in Great Yarmouth on June 30, 1963, 13 x 8.5 opened (as presented), signed by all four near their group photo, as follows: “John Lennon XXX,” “Ringo Starr XXX,” and “George Harrison XXXX,” all in blue fountain pen; and “Paul McCartney XXX,” in blue ballpoint. Billed as “Britain’s Fabulous Disc Stars,” the Beatles went last on a program of nine numbers that also included The Terry Young Combo, the Brook Brothers, and others. On the following day, July 1, 1963, the Beatles went into the studio to record their quintessential early hit “She Loves You,” the first single by the group to top both the British and American charts. The open program has been mounted to a slightly larger sheet of art paper. In fine condition overall, with a very subtle suggestion of scattered soiling, the program’s original fold touching Harrison, another light vertical fold touching McCartney, light bisecting horizontal fold touching Lennon, and Starr and McCartney slightly overlapping. All of the above points are quite minor, are mentioned only for sake of complete accuracy, and have a minimal effect on the appearance. COA Roger Epperson/REAL and R&R COA.
