ALS in French signed “C. Saint-Saëns,” one page, 5.5 x 7.5, February 9, 1911. Saint-Saëns writes from Algiers to an unnamed gentleman, noting that Madame Jomelli has had great success singing his Pallas-Athénée. In very good condition, with intersecting folds (lightly touching first initial), a touch of mild soiling and handling wear, and edge tear with archival repair. R&R COA.
