Description

German Jewish philosopher and writer; he evolved a philosophy inspired by the study of Hasidism, based on the encounter of man with nature, man, and God. ALS in German, signed “Buber,” one page, 5.75 x 8, August 29, 1953. Letter to an associate arranging a meeting. In part, “Heidelberg…will be fine, only the hour can’t be said yet. I’ll have to act as a witness at a wedding in the morning. Though I think that we will be available either in the afternoon or the evening. Please call after arrival.” In very good condition, with bisecting horizontal fold, some light wrinkling and creasing, pencil notation at top, and a bit of scattered foxing. R&R COA.
