Vintage hardcover autograph album, 6.25 x 5, containing more than 120 ink signatures, all double-sided, most with inscriptions to Lily. Among the most prominent signers are John Ford, Sidney Toler, George Raft, Bing Crosby, Pat O’Brien, and Jimmy Durante. The signatures were originally obtained by Hollywood hair stylist Lily Dirigo, who worked for Universal and other movie studios and counted the signers among her friends and clients; the album comes directly from her estate. Her best-known (though uncredited) job was as stylist for the multiple-Oscar-winning film Around the World in Eighty Days. Dirigo’s daughter, Carmen, was also an award-winning stylist who worked on such classics as The Killers and Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein. In fine condition. R&R COA.
