Decorating a Red Army colonel during WWII

DS as president, one page, 8 x 10.5, White House letterhead, no date [circa 1944]. A “Citation for Legion of Merit, Degree of Officer” for Lieutenant Colonel Nikolai Pavlovich Murzin of the Red Army, for “exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding service during the operations resulting in the capture of Kiev and forcing of the Dnepr. On 10 and 11 February 1944, Lieutenant Colonel Murzin, with the means at hand, forced the Dnepr, captured the bridgehead and assured by this action, the further crossing of the unit.” Faint intersecting folds (vertical fold to last name), a hint of mild wrinkling and soiling, and pinholes, otherwise fine condition.
