A grant for a parcel of land under the provisions of “An Act to enable the Officers and Soldiers of the Virginia Line on Continental Establishment…,” passed on August 10, 1790. Countersigned by James Madison as secretary of state. Matted and framed to an overall size of 18 x 21. In good condition, with both signatures very light yet fully legible upon close inspection, intersecting folds (vertical fold touching both last names), usual wrinkling and some stray creases, and scattered light staining.
