LS signed “Benj. Harrison,” two pages on two adjoining sheets, 5 x 8, personal letterhead, January 19, 1895. Letter to a gentleman in New York about possibly meeting next month. In part, “I had expected to be in New York sometime in January, probably as early as the middle of the month, but the case I am engaged in seems likely to extend itself to the middle of February at least. I expect to be in New York as soon as the case is ended and will be glad to see you; though it is hardly probable that I will be able to make you a visit, as my daughter will probably be in New York at that time and I shall be most of the time with her.” In fine condition, with a bit of mild toning to first page, a bit heavier on second from mounting remnants on reverse. Auction LOA John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and R&R COA.
