In part, “I have received your invitation to attend the dinner of the Plymouth County Agricultural Society…and thank you for the same. If I could accept the invitation herein it would be a sense of enjoyment to me…but on the date named I shall have returned to New York and shall find an accumulation of things to do that will closely confine me. I must therefore decline your pleasant invitation.” In fine condition, with some scattered light toning and soiling, a few light creases, and slight separation along integral second page.
