Description

Actor (1899–1973) who, after appearing in a string of westerns, became better known as Frankenstein’s monster after Boris Karloff declined to continue in the role he had created. Strange played the character in three films, but later gained his greatest fame for his role as bartender Sam Noonan in the durable TV western Gunsmoke. Textured cardstock 8 x 10 photo of Strange as he appeared in Gunsmoke, signed and inscribed in black felt tip, “Jack, tis said clothes makes the man, where did we fail? Sincerely, Glenn Strange.” In fine, bright, crisp condition. Scarce! R&R COA.
