Matte-finish 7.5 x 9.5 photo, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “For Bishop & Mrs. Freeman with the warm regards of Franklin D. Roosevelt.” Bishop James E. Freeman was named Protestant Episcopal Bishop of Washington in 1923. Matted and framed with an engraved biographical plaque to an overall size of 14 x 17. In very good condition, with light soiling with a few faint spots, and light creases to lower corners, touching inscription and one letter of last name.
