Description

Distinguished, Academy Award–winning American composer and conductor (1911–1975) who, over the course of four decades, earned a place among the influential figures in the field of film music. Among his most notable achievements are the scores for such iconic classics as Citizen Kane, Psycho, and Taxi Driver. DS, four pages, 8.5 x 11, June 1, 1957. An agreement wherein Herrmann assigns rights to scores titled “The Moat Farm Murder” and “The Hitchhiker” to CBS Television for the sum of $1,000. In good condition, with light rippling and scattered rust and damp stains to margins, well away from signature. R&R COA.
