Vintage matte-finish 10 x 8 photo of the Mercury astronauts posing with a model of a rocket, with Gordon Cooper having separated the capsule section from the rest of the model, signed in the lower border in various colors of ink by all seven: Alan B. Shepard, Jr., Virgil I. Grissom, M. Scott Carpenter, Walter W. Schirra, Jr., Donald K. Slayton, John H. Glenn, Jr., and Leroy G. Cooper, Jr. In fine condition, with some slight brushing to Grissom’s and Carpenter’s signatures and an unobtrusive vertical crease to right side (through Cooper’s image; barely affecting two letters in Glenn’s signature).
