Spalding “Professional” model baseball signed in fountain pen on the sweet spot, “Babe Ruth,” and on the side panel to left of Ruth’s signature, “Lou Gehrig.” In very good condition, with even overall toning and some scattered soiling to ball, some scuffs and dings, a few trivial stains, and a barely noticeable repair to a cover scratch, lightly affecting the “u” in “Ruth.” While both Ruth and Gehrig’s signatures are a shade or two light against the toning, they are both clearly penned and as large as you will find on a dual-signed ball.
