Partly printed DS, one page on vellum, 15.75 x 9.5, June 1, 1824. A grant for a parcel of land in Howard Country, Missouri issued to Thomas A. Smith, assignee of Alphonso Wetmore. In fair condition, with soiling, staining, and wrinkling, intersecting folds (vertical fold to last name), a few holes to body, and signature on the light side (though fully legible) due to somewhat irregular adhesion and water staining.
