Adams land grant for military service

Attractive DS as president, signed “J. Q. Adams,” one page, 13.25 x 10, May 10, 1825. President Adams grants David Tucker, “late a Private in Ripley’s Company of the 37th Regiment of Infantry,” 160 acres of land in Arkansas. Neatly signed at the conclusion in black ink by Adams, and countersigned by the Commissioner of the General Land Office George Graham. Intersecting storage folds, a few wrinkles, and some scattered light toning, otherwise fine condition. Paper seal is worn, but intact. Auction LOA John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and R&R COA.
