Biddle writes from the Bank Office of the United States to J. Hunter, Cashier, in Savannah. In part: “I have received from you at various periods a great mass of information in regard to your State Banks of which I did not consider it necessary to make a specific acknowledgement in detail, but which I consider very valuable & hope to use them advantageously for the institution….” Faint intersecting folds, small loss to one blank corner, and few minor marginal stains and spots of show-through from mounting traces, otherwise fine condition.
