Popular big band leader (1904–1944). In 1942, Miller joined the U.S. Air Force and organized the Glenn Miller Army Air Force Band to entertain the troops. In December 1944, on a flight from England to Paris, the plane Miller was traveling in disappeared over the English Channel and was never found. Vintage matte-finish 5 x 7 photo, boldly signed in fountain pen. In very good condition, with corner creases (one rather fragile) and light marginal staining. The faults can easily be matted out for a handsome presentation. R&R COA.
