Description

Nobel Prize–winning, Italian-born engineer (1874–1937) whose development of “wireless telegraphy,” better known to the world at large as radio, would come to exert a profound and immeasurable influence not only on communications, but on modern civilization itself. Bold vintage ink signature, “G. Marconi, Hyde Park Hotel, 1918,” on an off-white 5 x 2.25 slip. Matted with a portrait to an overall size of 11 x 14. Stray ink mark and faint show-through from notations to reverse, otherwise fine, bright condition. R&R COA.
