Large ballpoint signature and inscription, “To Danne, Love, John Lennon,” on an off-white 6 x 4 slip. Double cloth matted and framed with two rare and unpublished photos of Lennon from 1964, to an overall size of 20 x 34. These crystal clear photos, one of Lennon with a straight face, and the other hamming it up for the camera, were made from the original slides which originally came from a record industry employee, and only five sets were made. In fine condition, with a bisecting vertical fold affecting a single letter of signature. Lennon’s signature measures almost 4 inches long and is crisp and precise.
