Roy discusses Disney’s foreign projects

Walt’s brother and co-founder of the Walt Disney Company. TLS signed “Roy,” two pages, 8.5 x 11, Walt Disney Production, Inter-Office Communications letterhead, July 17, 1956. Letter to Jack Cutting in Paris, concerning selling prints of Motor Mania, dubbing issues in Germany, “I go along with all you say and your suggestions about substituting other material for Jiminey Cricket Presents Bongo and Legend of Sleepy Hollow in Germany.” Disney goes on to discuss television sales issues and assignments in Europe and Latin America, and closes with “The boys are now trying to place, as a ‘guest spot’ The Littlest Outlaw sequences from the Mickey Mouse Club show, timing them with the release of the picture. Mike said prospects looked good and it should probably be decided this week. Mike also said that, in his opinion, the Pinocchio show on TV helped the reissue of the picture in the theatres.” In fine condition, with staple to top left and punch holes to top of pages. R&R COA.
