Mrs. Harding writes to Charles Shaffner in Harding’s hometown of Marion, Ohio. In part: “I regret to say that I am again out of Mr. Harding’s autographs. Occasionally, I have a case that is so appealing I dislike to refuse. If not too much trouble, please send me a few more of his canceled checks….” In fine condition, with a hint of mild soiling.
