Description

British biologist and paleontologist (1804–1892) who pioneered the study of prehistoric reptiles and coined the term “dinosaur.” ALS, one page both sides, 4.25 x 7.25, May 30, 1870. Owen writes from the British Museum to an unnamed gentleman. In part: “I am extremely obliged to you for the kind offer to take a parcel to our friend…. I shall have it in readiness to deliver to you….” In very fine condition. R&R COA.
