Scarce manuscript DS in French, signed “payez, Marie Antoinette,” one page, 9.5 x 14.25, December 30, 1783. A document ordering the payment of 72 livres to provisioner Martin Grougnet for foodstuffs provided over the previous six months. In very good condition, with old tape stains at edges (touching only two words at upper left), tiny hole to blank portion, and mild scattered soiling and wrinkling.
