Great set of vintage ballpoint signatures, “John Lennon,” “Ringo Starr,” and “George Harrison,” and a fountain pen signature, “Paul McCartney (Beatles),” on the upper half of an off-white 3.5 x 7 mailing envelope. Although the Beatles’ initial musical style was rooted in 1950s rock and roll, the group explored a great variety of genres ranging from Tin Pan Alley to psychedelic rock. Their clothes, hairstyles, and statements made them trend-setters, while the growing social awareness manifested in their music exerted a direct influence on the social and cultural revolutions of the 1960s. The Recording Industry Association of America certified the group as the highest-selling band of all time based on American sales of singles and albums. In 2004, Rolling Stone Magazine ranked the Beatles #1 on their list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time. In very good condition, with light soiling, light creasing, and fairly heavy wrinkling.
