Signer of the Declaration of Independence from New Hampshire (1714–1803). Partially printed DS, one page, 12.25 x 7.5, September 5, 1775. A commission appointing Aaron Lyon first lieutenant of the First Company in the Fourteenth New Hampshire Militia. The embossed paper seal remains intact at upper left. In good condition, with small separations and holes along folds, edge tears and chips, and scattered staining and soiling.
