Heavyweight boxing champion from 1926 to 1928 who defeated Jack Dempsey in 1926 and 1927 and retired after winning against Tom Heeney in 1928. Vintage ink signature, “Gene Tunney,” on an off-white card. Impressively double suede matted and framed in a raised relief containing his name and a pair of boxing gloves, along with a photo of Tunney in his prime, to an overall size of 21.75 x 35.
