Monarchial miscellany

George III reigned as King of Great Britain and Ireland from 1760–1820; George IV, from 1820–1830; William IV, from 1830–1837; and Edward VII, from 1901–1910. Four items: Manuscript DS, signed “George R [III], 9.25 x 13.75, March 25, 1796, related to military courts martial; manuscript DS, signed “George R [IV], 7.5 x 12, no date, a document authorizing a “licence to plead” in a conspiracy case; partially printed DS, signed “William R [IV], 15 x 11, one page on vellum, February 18, 1837, appointing Archibald Cameron as a lieutenant colonel; and an ALS, signed “Albert Edward [Edward VII], one page both sides, 4.25 x 7, Windsor Castle letterhead, June 28, 1889, mentioning that “our eldest daughter is engaged to Fife.” All four items are matted and framed together to an overall size of 30 x 36. In very good to fine condition, with wrinkles to George III and William IV, blot and mailing fold touching signature of George IV, and fold touching signature of William IV. R&R COA. Oversized.
