A document in which Edison appoints his son, Charles, to serve as his proxy at the stockholders’ meeting to be held on September 10; Charles’ name, “Chas. Edison,” is in Thomas Edison’s own hand. The pages are attached to one another with glue along the left margin. In fine condition, with tear to first (unsigned) page and a touch of mild scattered wrinkling.
