Signed and inscribed in fountain pen on the front free end page, “For Paul Kaye—With all good wishes—Moss Hart.” The book has also been signed by approximately fifty others near their respective roles in the cast of characters, including Kaye himself (who played Lt. McCarthy), George Reeves (who adds, “née Bessolo”), Whit Bissell, Ellen Miller, Alan Baxter, Harry Lewis, Bob Willey, Gary Merrill, Damian O’Flynn, Ray Middleton, and others, most of whom played various soldiers, nurses, civilians, etc. In very good condition, with soiling, toning, and rubbing to covers, slight fraying to spine ends, rear hinge loose but intact, and stray ink marks to page signed by Hart.
