Description

Blistering Harding photo with anti-Wilson and League of Nations rhetoric

Vintage matte-finish 8.25 x 10.5 portrait photo of Harding, signed in white ink, “Let the Express say that all the country means to vote with Western New York to restore constitutional government through the Republican party and have an administration for America first. Sincerely yours, Warren G. Harding.” Photo is affixed to a 9.75 x 12 sheet of heavier cardstock. In very good condition, with two small repaired tears, one above first line of Harding’s writing and the other above signature extending down to one letter, vertical crease to top right and some scattered light silvering. Ink has taken on a slight ‘ghost-like’ appearance due to adhesion and aging. Such rhetoric is much more often found in letters, making this a highly unusual and unique format. LOA John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and R&R COA.
