Manuscript DS, signed “George PR” [as Prince Regent] at the top of the first page, one page both sides, 9.25 x 14.5, September 14, 1813. A court martial issued against Private Joseph Hammond “for deserting from [his] regiment on or about the 18th day of June 1813 until on or about the 22nd day of the same month.” Light soiling, a few tiny ink spots, and small edge separations at folds, otherwise fine condition.
