Nassiff is a retired JSC NASA engineer and was employed at the NASA Johnson Spacecraft Center for 24 years. He was involved in the Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, Apollo/Soyus, Skylab, Shuttle, and Space Station Programs as a Design Engineer, System Analyst, Project Engineer, and Study Manager. In the Gemini Program, he managed the design of a Gemini Ground-Based Simulator and trained the seven original astronauts to fly the Gemini Spacecraft from earth reentry to touchdown. During the Apollo Program, he managed the design of a high fidelity ground- base Lunar Landing Training Vehicle Simulator and trained astronauts in preparation to flying the free-flying Lunar Landing Training Vehicle which was located at Ellington Field.
