TLS as president, one page, 7 x 8.75, White House letterhead, November 23, 1916. Wilson writes to editor H. T. Van Camp. In full: “Your message gave me the keenest gratification. It means a great deal to me to be approved of by those who speak so nearly in the name of the great public itself.” In fine condition, with usual mailing fold, mild toning, and a hint of subtle soiling.
