Adolf Galland was a World War II German fighter pilot and commander of Germany's fighter force (General der Jagdflieger) from 1941 to 1945; Erich Hartmann, nicknamed "The Blond Knight Of Germany" was the most successful fighter ace in the history of aerial combat. He shot down 352 enemy aircraft of which 345 were Soviet, while serving with the Luftwaffe, Germany's air force, in World War II. Lot of twenty-six items, signed in ink by Galland, Hartmann or both. Included: two commemorative covers signed by Galland and Hartmann; two covers signed by Galland; thirteen photos ranging in size from 6 x 4 to 9.5 x 7, each signed in black ink by Galland; eight photos ranging in size from 3 x 5 to 7 x 9.5, each signed in blue or black ink by Hartmann; and a 7 x 5 composite photo of both, signed by both.
