ALS in German, one page on the correspondence side of a 5.5 x 3.5 postcard, October 2, 1932. An untranslated note to his colleague, the German-American immunologist Dr. Ernst Witebsky, and his wife, who were staying in Heidelberg. The front of the postcard, which shows the French village of Gunsbach, bears Schweitzer’s notation pointing out his own house, signed with his initials. In fine condition, with mild toning and a few stray traces of postal ink. R&R COA.
