The lot includes: a matte-finish portrait of Estes Kefauver, signed and inscribed “To Art Howard”; and fountain pen signatures and inscriptions on ten separate white 5 x 3 sheets: Chauncey M. Depew (signed at the age of ninety-one), W.J. Bryan, Averell Harriman, Thomas E. Dewey, Alben Barkley, H[enry]C[abot] Lodge, Jr. (adding “U.S. Senator”), Wendell L. Willkie (with “Edith Willkie” on reverse), Alfred E. Smith, Alf M. Landon, and Norman Thomas. In fine condition, with neatly typed notations to all the pages, small punch holes to left margin.
