Signed “U.S. Grant” at the conclusion and countersigned by Secretary of the Navy George Robeson. In fine condition, with usual folds and expected toning, creased but intact blue seal, slight feathering to Grant's signature. Henry M. Denniston eventually attained the rank of Rear Admiral.
