TLS, signed as president, 6.75 x 9, dated February 10, 1992 on White House letterhead, written to Dizzy Gillespie. In part, “It was great seeing you the other night at the Kennedy Center,” with Bush adding “Dizzy many thanks,” in his own hand under his signature. Also included is another 1992 TLS to Gillespie, bearing an autopen signature of Bush, as well as four unsigned cards sent from Bush to Gillespie, including a Christmas card and an invitation to a black tie reception at the White House.
