Early ALS, two pages, 6.25 x 7.75, Savoy Hotel London letterhead, March 11, 1949. Letter to a friend in England. In part, “I spoke to Joan Wyatt and told her of your letter shortly after the picture started, suggesting that if she saw you to tell you to come in and visit me. That is a lazy man’s way of doing things I know and I am sorry. Today I came across your letter…and realized that Joan must have forgotten to mention it to you…If you do have a moment and want to drop in at ABPC it would be very nice to see you.” Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, addressed in Reagan’s hand. In good condition, with mailing folds, tear and paper loss to second page, not affecting signature, rough edges to second page, and ‘whited-out’ writing on the envelope. R&R COA.
