In part: “Thank you very much for your kind invitation to be your guest at the luncheon and supper at the World’s Fair Day of the Military Order of the World War. I deeply appreciate your kindness and regret exceedingly that my health will not permit me this pleasure.” In fine condition, with usual mailing folds, one touching paraph beneath signature.
